Celebrating Excellence at the GLOBALWIIN Roundtable Summit

For the second consecutive year, we participated in the Global Women Inventors and Innovators Network (GLOBALWIIN) Roundtable Summit and Awards. It was an opportunity to connect with brilliant minds and catchup on emerging technologies shaping our world.

The Conversations

Our co-founder, Arthur Kay, led a conversation on how technology can drive regeneration, exploring not just what innovation can build, but what it can restore. It is a theme that sits at the heart of FF2030's mission and one that clearly resonated in the room.

IGP's Dr Onya Idoko and FF2030 board member, Sara Wahedi, added their perspectives, exploring how responsible civic technology can genuinely shape thriving communities rather than simply extracting value from them. It was a timely reminder that the tools we build are only as good as the intentions and accountability structures behind them.

The Recognition

The event's most memorable moment came at the GLOBALWIIN Award Ceremony. Our highlight was witnessing board members Selin Yigitbasi-Ducker of Goodsted and Sara Wahedi of Civaam receive well-deserved recognition for their exceptional contributions to social innovation, honoured with the Special Recognition Award for their outstanding tenacity and commitment to impacting lives.

We celebrate them and look forward to everything that comes next.
