Why learn this course?

We have already exceeded six out of nine planetary boundaries, which puts us at risk of causing irreversible environmental damage. At the same time, more than half of the world's population still experiences injustice and significant wealth and resource disparities. It is important that we understand how our actions impact the world and take responsibility for improving the situation. Our programme aims to educate younger generations about sustainable development concepts since traditional ways of doing things no longer suffice. We need to prioritise the planet, community and shared prosperity, and we need to act now before we lose opportunities to save livelihoods.

What will you learn?

Through a mix of online lessons, in-person workshops, and mentorship, you will:

• Examine current challenges, such as social injustice, wealth gaps, conflicts, pollution, and resource depletion, to formulate holistic solutions from multiple perspectives.

• Discuss case studies to learn how Sustainable Development Goals serve as a collective problem-solving tool that aligns with the prosperity of people and the planet.

• Explore creative approaches to address SDG-related challenges using regenerative design and nature-inspired models, and turn your ideas into tangible projects.
