Fast Forward 2030 Launches UAE Chapter
At GITEX 2025 in Dubai, Fast Forward 2030 marked a significant milestone with the signing of a Letter of Intent with the University of Dubai Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Business Centre (UDBIEC) to launch its UAE chapter, a new hub for impact entrepreneurs across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
L-R: Simran Chibber; Arthur Kay; Dr Aboud; Dr Idoko and Ignacious Gutierrez Gomez
The Letter of Intent was signed by Arthur Kay, Co-Founder of Fast Forward 2030, and Eng. Mohamed Aboud, Manager of UDBIEC, bringing a global network of impact founders, long-term investors, and sustainability-driven ecosystem leaders into the heart of the UAE. Also present at the signing were Dr Onya Idoko from the Executive Committee of FF2030 and Mr Ignacio G., former coordinator of the London chapter.
The chapter will form part of the global FF2030 network, curated by the UCL Institute for Global Prosperity (IGP), and will serve as a collaborative platform supporting SDG-aligned innovation, strengthening entrepreneurial talent, and contributing to the UAE's long-term economic, environmental, and social development priorities.
Coordinating the activities of the new chapter is Simran Chibber, an alumna of the IGP's MSc in Prosperity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Passionate about building bridges between entrepreneurs and resources to drive sustainable prosperity across the GCC, Simran brings both personal commitment and institutional familiarity to the role.
The chapter also carries forward the vision of Professor Dame Henrietta Moore, Co-Founder and Chair of the FF2030 Global Board, whose work on redefining prosperity sits at the core of the network's mission.
From the UK to Lebanon, Africa, and now the UAE, Fast Forward 2030's community of impact-driven entrepreneurs continues to grow. We look forward to supporting change makers across the region as we expand our shared mission for a more just, sustainable, and prosperous future.
